Prof. Wael Mualla, President of Damascus University met on Nov 11th with Prof. Aysha Oglo, of Middle East Technical University in Turkey. The two discussed the prospect of academic cooperation between their respective institutions. Of particularly interest was the issue of conducting joint research and creating joint projects in the field of water management and irrigation. Prof. Mualla expressed DU’s strong desire to further explore this vital track of cooperation.
